I just wanted to drop you a line to say how much I enjoyed the comp crew course. I wasn’t expecting such good food! And to share it with such a friendly bunch of people was more than I could have asked for, add to that some really enjoyable sailing taught by someone both incredibly competent and a good teacher was just the icing on the cake. Having some fun should be an important ingredient in any learning and it certainly was, the words “Lewis where are you going f***ing Holland” still make me chuckle.
What I really wasn’t expecting was the warmth and kindness that you showed to Lewis. It’s rare that I have seen him so happy and absorbed in anything, he still hasn’t stopped talking about the sailing, you have given him some great memories that will remain with him forever.…thank you.
Can you also let me know as soon as you can when you will be running the next day skipper practical ? as we are both really keen to get this booked in. In the meantime we will be practicing at every opportunity on Lewis’s yacht.
